Supported Charities

Giving back to the community is important to us. Our chosen corporate charity is the Darling Home for Kids Foundation, which we support with our annual Charity Golf Tournament.  We also help a variety of other local charitable organizations, including Victim Services of Peel as well as many youth sporting teams. We hope to have touched many lives in a positive way through our charitable endeavors by raising over $500,000.00 to date and by continuing to do so in years to come.

Help Us to Help Them

Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Since 2000, The Monte Carlo Inns has spearheaded a golf tournament in honour of the Darling Home for Kids, formerly the Rose Cherry Foundation.  Through the support of our customers, vendors staff and major sponsors over the last 18 years, we have raised over $450,000 towards brightening children’s lives and those of their families. A special thank you to our major sponsors, Italian Chamber of Commerce, Sotos LLP and RBC. Please click here to find out more!

Teddy Bear Toss

Our annual Teddy Bear Toss in Barrie, Ontario in conjunction with the Barrie Colts has to be our most fun event! Support us each year just before Christmas by buying a bear and tossing it on the Ice during the game. All funds raised and teddy bears tossed are donated to the Darling Home for Kids. This event has raised over $10,000.00 to date. Thank you to our amazing volunteers.

Awards

We are the proud recipients of the Company of the Year Award in 2009 from Hotelier Magazine, our industry's leading news source. Additionally, we received the Top 50 Companies Award by Hotelier Magazine in 2017.
